Visit the Exhibit – October 6 – 15, 2017 in the chapel

Saint Mark is excited to announce the Inaugural launch of Pride Then and Now, a visual exhibition dedicated to the history of Pride in Atlanta, Georgia from 1970 to the present.

Friday, October 6 and Monday, October 9 – Friday, October 13, 6 pm – 8 pm

Saturday and Sunday, October 14 and 15, noon – 4 pm


We Need Your Help, Exhibition Items and Photos!

To Donate Items: To find a drop-off location near you go to the Atl Pride ThenandNow Facebook page or email us at (Items can be donated to the exhibit permanently or returned.  All items will be tagged and logged for credit to owner or return to owner. Items may be donated anonymously.)

Find us on Social Media: Facebook – Search              You can post videos and pictures for the exhibition and leave your comments and Pride stories.

Send in Your Digital Photos Videos:  Send an email to to get a shared file on to download photos and videos.  There will be cash prizes for the oldest picture donated from Atlanta’s First Pride in 1970 and for “Best of Exhibition.”

To Make a Financial Donation:  Attendance of the exhibition is free.  Your tax-deductible donations are accepted at the exhibition or can be made online at (search “AtlPride Then and Now”).  All donations, no matter how small, are very much appreciated!  All proceeds, less expenses, will go to Saint Mark United Methodist Church and its ministerial programs.

Future Goals:  With your help and the help of the entire community, this exhibition will live on during future Atlanta Prides.  We expect to have a world class exhibit that will continue to grow and be ready to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Stonewall in 2019.  The Pride Then and Now committee would like to thank everyone for your participation and help making this a possibility and success!
