Softball
Involvement in the Saint Mark co-ed softball team beginning in May and running through September each Monday evening.
Plan Wednesday Night Programs
Do you know someone who could present a good program? Do you have special talents that you would be willing to share for a program? Do you enjoy meeting new folks and making them feel at home? Would you like to coordinate programs for each Wednesday night?
If your schedule limits your participation but you have ideas for specific programs, please feel free to share them with the Wednesday Program coordinator, Carolyn Chandler or one of the pastors.
Time Commitment: Planning team meets approximately twice per planning season (Fall and Winter/Spring), or four times a year. Committee members attend weekly Wednesday Night Dinners and Programs, 6-7:30 pm.
Plan Club M.A.R.K. Events
Club M.A.R.K. (Making A Real Konnection) is a nurturing ministry that provides diverse opportunities for people to find themselves, to connect with others, to learn, to grow and to have fun. The Club M.A.R.K. committee plans recreational, dining, learning and cultural events that will foster a sense of belonging and inclusion within the Saint Mark family.
Time Commitment: The Club M.A.R.K. Planning Committee meets the Second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM
Special Church Events
Atlanta PRIDE Festivities
Saint Mark has always welcomed all of God’s children. During PRIDE week each year we celebrate God’s diversity in a variety of ways, ranging from handing out water to parade passers-by to providing a special Thursday evening worship service, to marching in the parade and maintaining a both in the park.
Time Commitment: As little or as much as you want.
Receptions
Saint Mark is known for having festive receptions to celebrate individuals or events. Food preparers, flower arrangers, hosts/hostesses, and clean-up crews are needed for each event.
Time Commitment: varies according to the number of receptions and your desire to be involved in the event.
Church Picnic
This committee will coordinate the yearly church picnic to plan the meal and work with other committees to ensure that all areas of the church are invited.
Time Commitment: A few scheduled planning meetings, plus preparation time around and at the event.
