Spiritual Formation
Our spiritual journeys are life-long processes of opening our hearts to God. The mission of the Spiritual Formation team is to provide opportunities for individuals to deepen their personal connection to God and to each other.
Examples of activities include centering prayer, Taize services, walking a labyrinth, and spiritual retreats.
Compline Information
- The term is pronounced "Comp'-lin" and is sometimes also called Night Prayer or Prayers at the End of the Day. This calming service may consist of prayers, meditations, scriptures, and songs. From time to time, Compline Services are held at Saint Mark, but are also held regularly at other churches throughout Atlanta.
Labyrinth Information
Labyrinths are spiritual tools that can be used as paths of prayer or as walking meditations for petitioning, thanking, and praising the Divine Spirit. They are places for communing with God in the solitude of one's heart, mind and soul. Some people walk labyrinths to search for a deeper meaning of self while others walk labyrinths request guidance or help in their lives.
