Advent - Christmas - Epiphany Banners

Banners designed and created by Tony Kimbrell - Advent, 2002

Adorning the Sanctuary each week of Advent through Epiphany are banners depicting various scenes of the Christmas story - one is added each week. Read about each one here OR just click a banner in the picture above:

The banners were designed and created by Tony Kimbrell for Advent, 2002. The information about Tony and the banners first appeared in a brochure printed that first Advent with the banners.

Tony is a long time member of the Chancel Choir and the Fine Arts Department of Saint Mark, and is also the Executive Director of Young Audiences of Atlanta. Young Audiences of Atlanta is Georgia's largest provider of educational arts programming. Young Audiences recently became the fifth division of the Woodruff Arts Center.

A former minister of music, Mr. Kimbrell has managed a diverse arts program that included graded children’s choirs, orchestra, dance, and regular presentations of elaborate theatrical and musical productions. Tony has also performed in community theatre and has designed costuming professionally.

We are elated to have Tony as the Chair of the Fine Arts Work Area, and appreciate his contribution to the organization and to our worship space.
