Focused on the disciple as learner, believer, follower, proclaimer, and servant, Disciple provides the fellowship of a small group for in-depth scripture study, prayer, and life experience discussions with others. Disciple I:
Becoming Disciples through Bible Study
- Thursday evenings, 6:30-9 pm
- 34 weeks beginning September 8
- Facilitator: Lynn Ingram and Nancy Monroe
- Cost: $30
- Register today!
Are you hungry for a richer, fuller understanding of Scripture? During the course of 34 weeks, Disciple I study groups move through the biblical story from Creation to the New Jerusalem, seeking what it means to live as a faithful disciple.
Disciple I is divided between Old and New Testaments and takes participants from Genesis through Revelation prompting them along the way to consider their human condition and become disciples.
This study requires reading large portions of Scripture each week and is based on careful study and preparation. Groups will move through the biblical stories of Creation to the New Jerusalem. The titles of the sessions along with theme words; theme verses; and major persons, events, and topics will set the sequence of the biblical story in the minds of the participants. The principal Scripture for each session follows the chronological movement of the biblical story. |
