Sunday, September 6

Labor Day Holiday weekend

Only ONE worship service (at 11:15 a.m.) and NO Sunday School classes for children.

Sunday, September 13

Christian Education Sunday

• During both worship services, there will be special time for Commissioning all those who are involved in any way with the educational ministries of Saint Mark.
• Children’s teachers will return their signed “Covenants” at this time in the service.
• Also, during the Early Service, children who are in the 3rd grade will be presented with a Bible as a gift from their church family.

Sunday, September 20

Worship Readiness Session for Kindergartners, First Graders, WITH their grown-ups. In the Chapel. 9:15 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

Children’s Council meeting, immediately following the Late Service. Bring a sack lunch.

Sunday, October 4

World Communion Sunday

Children will assist in the worship service as readers, greeters, etc.

Parenting in the Pew, Part I. For parents of children of all ages AND for adults who want to help parents and children experience worship to the fullest extent possible. In the Chapel, during the Sunday School hour, 10:10-11:10 a.m.

A Day on the Farm. Join us at the home of Jerri Whitlock and Chris Ritts for an afternoon of fishing, hay rides, donkey rides, goat petting, marshmallow roasting, and scarecrow making! Games, snacks, and fellowship! Details will be emailed to all families with children.
