At Saint Mark’s 11th annual Diversity Service on Thursday, June 22, Henry Thompson was awarded the Saint Mark Diversity Award (the Cordle Award) for his work over the years in supporting Saint Mark’s ministries, particularly our ministries to the GLBT community. Many Gifts, One Spirit

Thanks to everyone who helped make Saint Mark's 2006 Celebration of Pride successful! Although it may have been at times hot or wet, Saint Markers turned out in record numbers for the Diversity Dinner, Diversity Worship Service, and Pride Sunday Service. For those who volunteered in any capacity, from assisting at the dinner, to helping sell t-shirts, to volunteering at the park, or “swimming” in the parade and to those who supported through their financial contributions, we are grateful. Saint Mark certainly proved that “all are welcome in this place.”

In addition, Saint Mark took home First Place in the Non-Profit category at the Atlanta Pride Parade.  Congratulations to everyone!
