Lord, thank you for all
the blessings you have
given us.
We thank you for the friends that you have put in our lives here at St. Mark. Please help us to be responsive to their needs, praying that they remember you are with them, you hear them, you will comfort them and give them peace.
We offer this prayer of St. Augustine:
Watch thou, dear Lord, with those who wake, or watch, or weep tonight, and give your angels charge over those who sleep. Tend your sick ones, Lord Christ. Rest your weary ones. Bless your dying ones. Soothe your suffering ones. Pity your afflicted ones. Shield your joyous ones. And all for your love’s sake.

“It’s been a very long time since my last medical update, and as you can imagine it has continued to be a crazy roller coaster ride! The cancer has spread to the right lower lobe and I am back to chemo and immunotherapy. We found this out several months ago and have relied on the team of Doctors to make the best decisions along with our own research. I feel good, but noticing some limitations with increased cough and low stamina (blamed on radiation inflammation and being treated with a very long course of steroids). I’ve had some pretty bad headaches and have a brain scan next week. I have tried to be very open and transparent with this journey. I am doing this because of the power of prayer! Please put me on your churches prayer lists, tell it to your prayer warriors and bible study groups. I have beat the odds! 50% of Lung cancer patients typically live 5 years. I’m at 5 years and 3 months!!! Enjoying life, traveling as much as I can, grateful for every day and leaning on the Lord! Thank you from the bottom of my families hearts!”

“My nephew, Justin Northern, was in a hunting accident on 10/9 and fell over 20 ft. He shattered the bones in his lower legs, ankles and feet. He has already undergone one surgery and is facing at least 2 more in upcoming weeks, along with extensive time in wheelchair and rehab. He was in Kansas at time of accident and remains hospitalized there. Pray for his surgeons, care team, and wife who is caring for him.”

Ongoing Concerns:
Pray for Jennifer Simmons. She has had Stage IV Metastatic Breast/Bone Cancer for three years after an 11 year remission from her original Breast Cancer diagnosis in 2010. Pray for a miraculous healing and/or that she be able to be treated in a non-chemo way. Pray that she and her family would be comforted and have the strength to bear with it. Above all, pray that the Lord's will be done.
Stephanie Berlangia who is fighting cancer.
Powell Jones’ friend, Victor Paredes, who continues to live with debilitating medical complications from a medical error. This medical error has left him needing help all day every day.
Johnny Sims’ father, Bill, is dealing with ongoning health complications. Please keep Bill and his wife, Brenda, in your prayers.
Alexandria Johnson asks that, by God’s grace, we may continue to diligently work with endurance for the Kingdom of God with transformed hearts.
